Milana Soft™ is made using Lenzing TENCEL™ lyocell fibers, derived from responsibly sourced wood and produced in a closed-loop process. Water and solvents are continuously recovered and reused, helping reduce waste and limit environmental impact.
Some fabrics often compared to TENCEL™, like bamboo viscose, are made using more chemically intensive processes that are harder to trace from start to finish. We chose TENCEL™ lyocell for its more controlled production, consistent standards, and greater transparency across the supply chain.
Working with a Lenzing-certified partner means we can trace every step, from fiber to finished garment, against standards that don't change.
Milana Soft™ was developed specifically for Milana, knit at 240gsm with 10% OEKO-TEX® certified spandex. TENCEL™ lyocell is naturally smooth and breathable, but without added stretch it can lose its shape over time. The spandex is what gives our fabric the structure to hold up through years of wear and washing, keeping every piece looking and feeling the same on wash thirty as it did on day one. For us, durability is part of the sustainability story, not separate from it.
To help your pieces last longer, we recommend:
· Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle
· Wash inside out with similar colours
· Use mild detergent and avoid bleach
· Hang to dry to help maintain shape and softness
Our fabrics are pre-treated to minimize shrinkage and meet sleepwear safety standards without added flame-retardant chemicals.
