Milana Label Supplier Code of Conduct
Version 1.1 — August 2025
Introduction
Milana Label partners only with manufacturers who reflect our core values of transparency, integrity, and ethical production. Our global production partners play a critical role in helping us deliver clothing that is gentle on skin, safe for the planet, and built to last.
This Code of Conduct outlines Milana Label’s expectations — grounded in emotional intelligence, environmental responsibility, and real transparency. It applies to all individuals, facilities, subcontractors, and partners involved in producing Milana Label garments.

- Fair wages, equal to or above local legal requirements
- Reasonable working hours, with overtime that is voluntary and paid fairly
- Freedom of association and the right to join or form unions without retaliation
- A harassment-free environment, including protection from abuse, discrimination, or intimidation
2. Health, Safety & Working Conditions
Safe workplaces support dignity, focus, and pride. All partners must provide:
- Clean, well-ventilated, and adequately lit workspaces
- Functional fire safety equipment and training
- Access to clean drinking water and sanitary facilities
- Protective equipment and training where applicable
- Systems for reporting and resolving safety concerns
3. Environmental Responsibility

- Follow all local environmental laws and regulations
- Minimize waste, emissions, and water use wherever possible
- Ensure safe handling and disposal of chemicals and dyes
- Support and uphold certifications such as Lenzing, GOTS, OEKO-TEX, or other relevant standards
- Work collaboratively toward low-waste, traceable, and circular production systems
4. Product Integrity & Transparency
Every item made for Milana Label is a reflection of our promise. We require:
- Full disclosure of subcontractors and production partners, with approval prior to use
- Documentation for compliance testing (GOTS, OEKO-TEX, CPSIA, REACH, or other applicable standards)
- Open communication about production changes or issues
- Cooperation with audits or site visits, scheduled or unannounced
- Ongoing commitment to improving traceability and visibility in the supply chain
5. Ethical Business Practices
We expect integrity in every part of our relationship. This includes:
- No bribery, kickbacks, or unethical payment practices
- No falsification of records or product claims
- Transparent documentation of wages, hours, materials, and certifications
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest or potential compliance risks
